Introduction To PalmDAO
What Is PalmDAO?
PalmDAO is a collective of metaverse pioneers experimenting at the forefront of NFTs, gaming, and crypto. The DAO manages a treasury of crypto and NFTs with the mandate of acquiring NFT assets and producing game-ready assets and experiences around them. PalmDAO is a blend between a collector and a builder DAO.
The DAO originated as a coordination mechanism for holders of the Nifty Island Legendary Palms community. Palm holders are the OGs and vanguard of the Nifty Island game world. Each holder won access to their palms by contributing to the community or by purchasing them on the secondary market.
PalmDAO’s Primary Activities
Acquiring NFTs with vibrant communities that value the open metaverse.
Creating and commissioning game-ready assets and experiences around those NFTs.
Both the NFTs acquired and PalmDAO’s creations are then made accessible to all Palm Holders to use within Nifty Island.

Advance the open metaverse by experimenting at the intersection of NFTs and open game worlds.
Create value for Legendary Palm Holders by giving them access to a broad collection of NFTs and experiences.
How Does PalmDAO Affect The Average Member?
Creations based on the treasury NFTs, like avatars, 3D objects, and buildings, are available to all PalmDAO members in-game. For example, PalmDAO owns Moonbird #2066. We created a 3D avatar based on it. Any PalmDAO member will be able to play as Moonbird #2066 in Nifty Island.
Legendary Palm holders are given full rights to create and utilize PalmDAO treasury NFTs, limited by any IP restrictions of the collection itself. (PalmDAO typically collects NFTs that grant broad rights to their holders).
Owning just a single palm gives the holder access to a broad array of NFTs and metaverse-ready assets. Through PalmDAO the Legendary Palms collection can become the perfect entry point into the metaverse.
